DISC 1 contains Todd Russell's documentary A Case Of Obscenity: The Case of Her Majesty the Queen vs Don Smith, Canadian FX Artist, presented by actors: Stephen Steel and Pamela Sutch.

This tells the story of Don Smith aka Dr. Don a CGI Special Effects artist in Canada who specializes in computer generated shooting and stabbing effects. He uses primarily partially or fully naked female models to demonstrate his amazingly realistic bare skin bullet, knife and arrow penetrations.

On October 13, 2000 he was arrested and ordered to shut down his web site and cease and desist from making so called "pornographic" material. His case went to trial and was found guilty on all counts and subsequently ordered to pay $100,000 in fines, turn over his work to the crown and stay off the Internet for 3 years. In fact he was not allowed to reside in a home with an Internet connection. Chastised by the community he and his family were forced to move and pay over $80,000 in legal fees. He appealed the decision, but significant irreparable damage was already done.

Included in this disc are interviews, with the police, Dr. Don, CD Smith and Kenneth Hyatt.

DISC 2 contains the complete video works of Dr. Don from his earliest short videos segments in 1998 to his final work in 2000 just prior to his arrest.

This collection contains all of Dr. Don's featurettes including Hat Trick, Deadly Game, Scorpion and many more. These videos are presented in their full length uncut versions so that you may decide if they are "pornographic" or not. As a special bonus included are never before scene excerpts from feature length films, and the Shock 2000 trailer that feature Dr. Don's extraordinary special effects.


This double DVD is not rated and contains extreme violence and nudity, but THERE IS NO SEX.
